What is “adventure”? To some it may just be a simple thing, doing something she/he haven’t done 
yet but for me it’s a bold undertaking out of the ordinary, a risk for something that might be dangerous and to be called an “adventurous person” you have to have the courage and strength to venture on something that is unknown or for something that might result to nothing or worst to jeopardy and for me and “adventurous person is some one who has the passion and the love for adventure, a person who never gets tired of discovering new things, the one who feels jaded to be always on the run. I can see these qualities in the person of Kim “ Kuya Kim” Atienza.
Everyone knows him for being the son of former manila mayor Lito Atienza and for being a known broadcast journalist but what I admire in him is his intelligence, his knowledge about animalandia and most especially his love for adventure. Every time I watch him on TV, I get fixated on the things he is saying because at the end of it I get to learn something. One thing I admire about him is that he has the passion for adventure, the will to know more and the enthusiasm to indulge in the things that we can regard as dangerous.
Although we know that what he is doing on TV is for his career and people may think that it’s only for 
the sake of his job but in my opinion, no one would do something that would put him in danger for nothing, and that’s how I see Kuya Kim, for it’s not just the job but the experience and the fulfillment of doing something new aside from gaining new knowledge. He was not afraid to get bitten by a poisonous snake just to learn how to tame it. He enjoyed wrestling with a crocodile. Running from one place to another to see different kinds of animal species, the rarest, the unique, the extraordinary was his enjoyment. Being compassionate and sincere about his work is what makes him successful. He makes his family and supporters so proud of him in his chosen field.
